Yorkshire Pud Chicken with white wine and cream sauce
Here's another take on a classic for your Recipe Scrapbook! Chicken with White Wine & Cream sauce is a popular recipe amongst many people I know, but my version is a little bit unique from the rest! Its now the middle of January and I know myself, that after eating healthy for a whole 10 days, I just needed something a little more luxurious and filling!
Before making your creamy, boozy chicken, mix up a thick and gooey batter and make a large yorkshire pudding to serve your chicken in! Follow the recipe on the link below and create the perfectly soft and fluffy yorkshire pudding, with a contrast on textures and flavours that will melt in your mouth! That makes it perfect for the luxurious winter warmer to get you through the evening! This recipe left me wanting more, but if you are trying to be good like I am, then I probably wouldnt advise it!!
Serve with a creamy and smooth mash potato, with a sprinkle of parsley and black pepper, and a selection of seasonal vegetables should you wish!
Alternatively, should you prefer your saucy chicken with the more usual rice, then I would highly recommend caramelising some red onion pieces and mixing it with the rice and a sprinkling of parsley!
